- Check your inventory for beginner items or starter supplies.
- Look for the first helpful NPCs, such as healer, warper, tool dealer, or starter guide NPCs.
- Join the Discord if you have not already so support is close by.
Set Yourself Up
- Make sure your save point is sensible.
- Learn where your core utility NPCs are.
- Check whether the server uses custom starter areas, Eden-style progression, or a central guide hub.
Early Progression Mindset
- Do not rush into spending all of your early zeny.

Malangdo Capital Hub
New characters now begin their OceaniaRO journey in Malangdo, the floating island capital, instead of the old Prontera or Izlude tutorial flow.
Why Malangdo Matters
Malangdo is not just a new spawn point. It has been built into the main player hub so important services are easy to reach from the start.
Core Services In Malangdo
- Malangdo Warper - Access towns, Poring Haven, and Eden HQ.
- Kafra - Storage and save point services.
- Job Master - Class change support.
- Healer - Native healing support in the hub.
- Tool Dealer - Basic supplies.
- Relocated supporter and convenience NPCs.
What To Do When You Arrive
- Learn where the Kafra and healer are.
- Check the warper destinations so you know how to move around quickly.
- Look for any supporter or utility NPCs you may need later.
- Use Malangdo as your mental anchor point for early progression.
Why This Helps New Players
Putting major services in one hub reduces travel friction and makes the early game easier to understand, especially for players returning to Ragnarok after a long break.
Poring Haven
Poring Haven is a custom leveling field built on prt_fild08. It is designed as a themed progression area with custom porings, tuned EXP, and matching drops.
Field Structure
- Tier 1 Porings - Around level 22
- Neko Rings - Around level 40
- Spectral and Elemental Porings - Around level 58
- Poring King - Mini-boss around level 62
Why It Exists
Poring Haven gives players a custom leveling space that feels more curated than standard wandering. It also ties progression into OceaniaRO's card, token, and reward ecosystem.
What Makes It Special
- Twenty-four custom porings plus the Poring King
- Themed drops and tuned EXP
- Matching custom cards from each poring
- Links into the card-recycling and mercenary token systems
Player Advice
- Do not treat the field as only a grind zone. It is also part of the server's custom reward loop.
- Watch for cards and drops that feed later progression systems.
- Be ready for the Poring King if you push deeper into the field.
